The CoCCA Ombudsman's Office has been established to:
- Provide an avenue for amicable complaint resolution under the CoCCA CRS; and
- Give registrars and registrants an entity to appeal administrative actions taken by CoCCA members.
The Ombudsman's office carries with it only moral authority, the Ombudsman can investigate and make recommendations but NOT bind Registrants, Registrars or Registry operators.
Complaints regarding pricing, customer service should be directed to the ccTLD administrator or Registrar not the Ombudsman.
CoCCA Experts CAN make binding decisions with regard to properly lodged complaints under the CoCCA CRS.
